So this semester I made the switcheroo from Fourth grade to Second! That means I went from breaking up fights and teaching about the Water Cycle to now I am drying tears while tying shoelaces and teaching about how to tell time. They each have their ups and down, but it is well worth it at the end of the day, when you see that "ah ha" look in a child's eyes and have a line of "little adults" waiting to give you a big hug goodbye. I am however beginning to see the huge impact that our position has on each of these children. I look forward to seeing what the next 4 months will bring!!
